When you come to Alta Spa, for a waxing appointment, you’ll be escorted to a private room where you’ll be able to frankly discuss your needs with a professional. Some women simply take care of hair that falls outside of the typical underwear line; others desire much of the hair to be removed, with the remaining hair to be trimmed and perhaps shaped into a design, like a heart or a rectangular shape; others still want a completely bare pubic area.

At Alta Spa we have you comfortably lie on your back and/or side avoiding the strange positions that are associated with the waxing of the bikini area. You will experience some discomfort with the removal of the hairs but a soothing cream or mask will be applied immediately after. With repeated waxing, the discomfort becomes less. Our staff consists of experienced professionals who take measures to make the procedure as comfortable for you as possible.

The Alta Spa staff will recommend an appropriate home maintenance regimen to minimize any irritation or the chance of ingrown hairs. You will need a repeat appointment in a month to five weeks depending on the rate of growth of your hair.
